Venus & Olay Razor Review

I was so excited to get this in my influenster box. I've always use Venus razors!

I almost love everything about this razor. Unlike the Venus Breeze (remember that one?) you are still able to get a close shave without those moisture bars really getting in the way. It truly moisturizes and it almost last as long as a standard lotion.

The only problem I have with this razor is I have to replace the blazes more frequently than my Venus Embrace one. This is due the moisture bars disappearing. I also shave almost everyday because I hate the feeling when I don't.

Other than that it's a great razor and I'm glade they kept the 5 blades because I really do think it makes a difference.

Quick Take: Get a smooth shave every time, no shaving cream required.

Usage Tips : If you shave everyday, expect to buy refills more frequently than the other models.

The Verdict : Awesome razor for when you need to shave and moisturize quickly!

Kiss Nail Dress Review

When I saw these Kiss Nail Dress stickers, I admit I was worried. I have very small nail beds, especially on my toes. However, given my teaching job, there was no was I could have tried these on my nails.

I liked the Kiss Nail Dress because it had a variety of sizes and used a sticky ingredient that I didn't feel harmed my nails. However, I didn't like that these were more mean for finger nails. I placed these on my toes and had to trim a lot of it off. Also it stayed on for about 10 days, but the corners would sometimes lift up or feel rough after a while. I really like the smooth feeling of nail polish more. The item was okay, and I may try it in a different color but not now anyway.

Quick Take: Quick nail color without drying time.

Usage Tips : If you want to use them on your toes, make sure you give yourself enough time to trim the strips. This was a long process for me.

The Verdict : Quick nail color, just not my favorite way to color nails.

Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review

When Influenster mentioned they would have a sweetner or some sort, I knew it would be Truvia. I was always interested in Truvia but the price and the unknown is what kept me from buying it. When you still live with your parents, there is only so much you can change about the certain kinds of food they choose. Thankfully my parents eat healthy. We thought Splenda would be better than Equal or Sweet-n-Low, so that's what we have been using ever since.

I tried truvia and it was good on fruit and plain cereal, however in flavored coffee it developed a odd taste. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either. I think it's a better alternative to the questionable Splenda, but I don't use enough sweetner to have it really become an health issue. Also the price is really the deciding factor. Maybe someday, but for now I'm sticking with my normal sweetner.

Quick Take: Okay on fruit and cereal, not the better when used with certain flavored coffee.

Usage Tips :Use it on fruit and cereal, that's when it tastes best!

The Verdict : Okay, but I am still sticking with my no fail sweetner.
