Lets Begin!

Step 1: Use a hand or face scrub to exfoliate your hands and around your cuticles.

Step 2: Use a nail polish remove on your nails. This will remove any oils, lotion or excess nail polish. Doing this step will ensure that your manicure last longer.

Step 3: Apply a base coat. This will get your nails read for the colored polish.

Step 4: Apply the color. For a work appropriate color that can do no wrong, try a sheer white, nude or pink shade. Once the first coat is dry, apply a 2nd coat.

Step 5: Apply a top coat. This will prevent chipping, smooth the polish and make it glossier as well.

Step 6: Once the nails dry, apply a hand cream. This Neutrogena hand cream is non-scented and it suppose to help nails and dry chapped hand.

And then you're Finished! Be sure to check out the upcoming video review. Have fun!

My Thoughts

My hands aren't super dry, but my problem areas are near my nails and cuticles. I live in the eastern U.S. and we have had super cold then spring like weather. One day it can be below 0 Fahrenheit the next few days, 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit. I have also used a prescription hand tri...something and it's is in an all yellow colored tube. Once I have the name I will post it here. ....

Anyway, the prescription hand cream is amazing because it heals my cracked and torn skin. Especially near my fingernails. The Neutrogena hand cream isn't that strong. It will nourish those areas but it won't be having the healing process go any faster. Very dry areas like cuticles and areas on elbows or feet may only get significantly moisturized if you used it more than once a day. I did use this product on my lips and it really helped and smoothed them on contact!

On the palms and tops of my hands, this product did really well. Still, not as good as my prescription but still a decent job. The Neutrogena hand cream doesn't leave your hands greesy and does leave them smooth. Compared to other store bought hand lotions, I would say it's better than most.
I also noticed that this product seemed to last through typical hand washes. The scent didn't bother me. The original scent smells like typical lotion and the fragrance free one, while still having the lotion scent, is more light in smell. The package is simply and to the point. I didn't mind this and it keeps the product secure in the packaging.
