Products I Regret Buying!

Finally I did this video! May do another one if I ever get a lot of crappy things again. But so far I have been good about trying to look up reviews before buying things. Please watch this video and thumbs up and comment. Hopefully this will save people from buying some crappy products :)

Snail Mail!!

I don't know what it is but I gotten into sending mail a lot more. I plan on sending packages this summer and making cute boxes and such for them. Why is the Future So Scary??

I never thought I say this but the future can hold off as long as it wants! I'm getting so stressed with things to happen in the future it's scary. My dad's business has been barely making it by due to the broke customers and bad economy. He gets work in but people don't pick it up, therefore not paying him. He has agree to pay my car payment till I'm out of college (next year) but that's hard for him to do. It would be easier if this also didn't affect my credit so we can't be late and the money has to be in my account each month. Also for those who may put this against me, I did buy my first car myself with my own money. However it was used and it was my luck that it broke down to the point that it wasn't worth paying for. And I didn't ask for this car my dad offered and got it...

If that wasn't stressful enough, I'm already thinking about getting my own place apartment or house I don't know. Obviously not now, I'll need to save up, but as I'm so focus on making ends meet with money, my boyfriend of almost six years acts like it's no hassle at all. I would be fine with this if he had more money, but he's middle class like me as well. He wants to be a college professor in religious studies but it requires so much. He's going to be a Junior in the fall sem. he hasn't have to used loans yet but it is getting harder. Because he want to be a prof. he needs his masters and PHD before getting a job. I understood the process until now...

Now he's looking at an out of state graduate school in North Carolina. So he'll have to pay the out of state tuition on top of paying for an apartment to live in.Oh and he wants me to go with him, so then me depending on a job there... its just so stressful. I don't know how he expects to ever pay those loans off and who know this may put off us getting married or even having children. I know this sounds paranoid but I think about these things and I feel if he stayed in state there wouldn't be such a burden with money.

So what do people think? Am I freaking out too much? I know I might but like many girls my age (22) I've thought about how old I want to be when I get married or have children and these extra college expenses he'll have I'm afraid will ruin everything....what should I do.....

My Experience with Lancome...

Last weekend I went shopping with my mom and our family friend, Shelly. Shelly is 30 and we get along so well. Shelly is really into coupons, she does enough smart shopping that she still get coupons from so many stores, but she also looks online. Online Shelly found a coupon for a 10 day supply of a Lacome foundation and a lash makeover using Hypnose Drama mascara.

My Macys accepted this...hopefully your store accepts this. Looks like there is no expiration...

Because my mom worked at Macys they were super friendly and offers each one of us a sample of Hypnose Drama black mascara. This was also because Macys was super busy that day and they were doing a free gift anyway.The 10 day sample is a small plastic container/bottle, they will match your color and what coverage you want.

My Thoughts

 

The mini mascara I was super excited for! But I'm so glad I never bought a full size, so not worth

it! First of the smell of the mascara is WORSE then Maybelline mascaras. This has

a heavy perfume scent and I smell it once I take off the top. Then once I put it on my lashes

the smell will stay for a minute or so. The effect of the mascara isn't bad

similar to my Clinique High Impact, but this seemed more wet, so I few lashes 

did stick to one another. This mascara also flakes under my eyes. :(

I know it's not waterproof, but my Clinique High Impact hardly ever fakes (when it 

does it's because I'm touching my lashes). I do think it holds the curl well and it does

look pretty. I think though I'll still still with my Clinique mascaras.

The lacome lady gave me a sample of Teint Miracle because she knew

I wanted light coverage. The match of color was amazing and would let

my skin shine through. I know I sound like a commercial, but it did give me a beautiful

radiance. So I thought to myself, uh oh I have to invest more money when I want the 

full size. Although after a few uses I started getting small break outs. This weren't 

horrible, but you could see redness and small bumps on my neck, chin and the sides of 

my face. I was so sad about this, I don't know if I will finish up the whole sample.

I believe the fragerence of the foudation was what broke out my skin, 

so I plan on finding something simalir at the Clinique counter, because at least then,

I don't have to worry about it messing up my skin.

Victoria Secret Freebie!!!

UPDATE FEB8th: So I went to try to get the thong and mini purse. The mini purse is a small see through red heart change purse. Personally, I don't think the purchase for the freebie was worth it. The thong (though I didn't take it out) looked poor in quality. From the picture, it looked like a string v string or something,that would easily fall apart in the wash. Either way not my thing, also you had to make a purchase to get it. I turned it down and just got the freebie item from my other coupon. I don't think they were happy, well VS make better freebies!

Snow!!!

Actually I'm not too excited for the snow coming tonight, mainly because my college is so snotty they probably won't even cancel classes :(. But we are getting up to 18 inches! The roads were already bad in the afternoon, I don't want to even look outside now! Below is a picture from the last snow storm, haha maybe I'll post a redone shot once I wake up in the morning.
